Our Community Store is a thrift store serving the downtown Bowling Green community and the greater Warren County area. We launched our Community Store in 2014 with the purpose of connecting the community, our ministry, and the wonderful stories of redemption that have been shared with us since 2009 when Hope House opened its doors.
Hope House seeks to be an organization that creates pathways with neighbors to change our neighborhood for the better. One of the ways we do this is by launching businesses to create employment opportunities for our neighbors while serving them at the same time. Many Jobs for Life graduates have the opportunity to work in our store to gain income and work experience. If you would like to donate items to our Community Store, please click the button below for more information: |
Directions from our main office at 112 W 10th Avenue:

Turn right onto Glen Lily Road. 5. In .6 miles, the Community Store will be on your left, next to Family Dollar. The address is 485 Glen Lily Road. |
WE've moved! On June 16, 2020, our new Community Store opened at 485 Glen Lily Road. With more floorspace, this new location allows us to better utilize donated items and serve more families in Bowling Green's West End, while being two blocks from our future Ministry Center.
To clear the floor for renovation, we facilitated a week-long yard sale and raised an additional $7,500 to cover rent and remodel. We then built walls, painted, and installed new flooring. We are so humbled by and grateful for all who have given of their time, talent and treasures to help us with this project. Scroll through the photos on this page to see our renovation progress! |
