Jobs for Life is a biblically-based job training program that helps individuals prepare better for a job. Along with Biblical principles of work, students learn to interact with local business leaders in business roundtables and mock interviews, learn about resume, interviewing and networking skills. These eight week classes provide students with the support, encouragement, and help needed to become employed. Watch the video below to understand more. Our goal with this ministry to enable the physically and spiritually poor to provide for themselves and their families and to find the joy and dignity of working.
Volunteers can serve through Jobs for Life in these ways:
- Be a Mentor - Come along side a student during your lunch break and provide the help, encouragement, and affirmation a student needs to succeed
- Hire a Student for Work – After graduation provide a qualified student the opportunity to benefit your local company
- Recruit Businesses to Participate - These businesses participate in business roundtables, mock interviews and networks
- Recruit Students – Help communicate this opportunity to individuals who would benefit from Jobs for Life
Our next classes start September 19, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm on Thursday’s for ten weeks for women at the Warren County Jail and October 1, from 12:00PM – 2:00PM on Tuesday and Thursday for eight weeks at Hope House Ministries at 112 West 10 Avenue (Corner of 10 and Clay Street)
