G reetings Hope House supporters. This season we are reminded of what we have to be thankful for. Thankfully this isn’t the reason for the holiday season or our reasons for serving the poor at Hope House. This Christmas Season we are reminded of the promise that was given to us in Genesis 3:15 when God was speaking to the Serpent “I will put enmity between you & the woman, & between your offspring & her offspring; he shall bruise your head, & you shall bruise his heel.” The joy of knowing that Christ has come to remove sin’s curse from us & justify us from the penalty of our sin by taking the penalty for us causes us to be overwhelmed with joy & be in awe of God’s amazing grace!
May your Christmas season not be defined by gifts, family, vacation, food or charity. But through these things may they magnify the one who has come to save you from sin’s curse. May your Christmas traditions remind you of how the Son of God has come to magnify The Father & save you. May your Christmas traditions give others evidence of his grace & peace in your life through his birth, death, burial & resurrection! From our staff and board of directors we are grateful for your prayer, gifts, and service to Hope House in helping us alleviate physical and spiritual poverty through gospel restoration. May you have a blessed Christmas and New Year!
