Our Third Annual Cooking for Hope was a great success! We had a great night with dinner prepared by Scott Wilson, Mike Riggs, and students from SCKY Technical College. Chef Andy Henderson from Lost River Pizza Company, won our cooking competition, competing agains DanielGonzalez from 440 Main, and Jake Olson from On the Bone. Thank you all for competing! Also, special thanks goes to Chris Allen for being our emcee for the evening, to Scott Wilson for organizing the competition, to Rhonda Gibbs for setting up the tables, to Linda Fredrick for organizing the silent auction, to Corey Pruitt, Ben Hussung, Lindsey Pillow for playing some great music, and to Jeremie Wade and the maintenance staff of LHBG for making it all happen. We could not have done it without you! Last but not least, thanks to Van Meter Insurance, Independence Bank, Houchens Industries, Landmark Engineering, Geoghegan Roofing, and Mackenzies for supporting us – and to you all for coming!
Here are some photos from last year’s event. We’ll post photos from this year soon:
